Hands down the best outerwear piece for 2010.A mid-length, lightweight trench coat is the way to go. Spring can be both brisk and warm at the same time, so you don’t want to be stuck on a day running, lugging around a bulky coat, when it’s sunny out. Trenches are also perfect for layering – so while they’re not terribly thick, they’re perfect for wearing dresses, T-shirts and cardigans underneath and hello... slim pants or leggings! Genius
