Jim Denevan is a surfer by nature, the founder
of the incredible Outstanding In The Field-
the forefront of the the hugely inspirational
farm to table movement.
He is also an accomplished artist in the world
of landscape art. Something that for him,
brought solace when dealing with personal losses
as a young man. He creates BIG works,
his tools often only a rake and a stick.
So much of the art that Jim produces,
is about the practice over the results...the impermanence.
Much like the beautiful meals he brings forth.
