West Marin Treasure

After thinking about the Running Fence
project, I got to thinking about one of my
favorite Marin County towns,
Located in western Marin,
just off the California coast.
The area is mainly a farming community,
with dairy being the backbone.
It is a town for the people
and the locals use it as their commercial
anchor.

It is one of those quintessential
hamlets that combine old school familiarity,
such as a main street, county store and diner
but also a couple of cutting edge art galleries
along with upscale restaurants
supporting local, sustainable, organic ingredients.
This place is foodie heaven.

There is a lighthouse on the coast and many, many
possibilities for mini excursions.

Heaven is just a click away!
