Art From and For The Children

Have You Heard About Givology?
Givology partners with leading grassroots non-profit organizations, local communities, and schools to sponsor education grants and innovative community-based education projects.
This is where the Art comes in...
There's  was an online exhibition What Would You Buy with $50?  that features more than 150 works by East African villagers and students from the Circle of Peace School in Uganda, where that price covers a year’s tuition.
The project was the brainchild of artist Jiashan Wu and Joyce Meng, CEO of the volunteer-based online organization Givology. On a recent volunteer mission, they asked the local kids to draw what they would buy with $50, and now each drawing is being sold to help provide continuing education for students at the school.
The exhibition has closed, but there is still plenty of artwork available for purchase.
Of course, the art may not have mass appeal,
however, their website offers many other ways
 to be involved.
Have a great weekend...
Grow,  Laugh, Enjoy.
